Austin Hanners dominated the Buckeye Stallions Series at Eldorado

On Thursday, July 18, driver Austin Hanners dominated the Buckeye Stallions Series for three-year-old trotting fillies at Eldorado Scioto Downs. Hanners took two out of three divisions, bringing his total wins for the day to six out of 15 races. Chris Page also had a strong showing, winning four races.

Hanners' first victory came with Justasiam As in the opening division. Justasiam As, owned by ACL Stuteri AB and trained by Anette Lorentzon, made a strong move to overtake the leader, Createaqueen, and secured the win by three-quarters of a length. In the third division, Champa Bay Hall trotted to victory in 1:56.3, with Steve Carter training for Jeff Fought Racing, Adam Friedland, and Brian Carsey.

Page drove Westfiftyfive to victory in the second division, clocking in at 1:55.3. Westfiftyfive, a Long Tom homebred for Gary Condit, showed strong determination to pass the leader, Possibility, and secure the win by three-quarters of a length.

Overall, Hanners and Page put on an impressive display of driving skill at Eldorado Scioto Downs, showcasing their talent and expertise in the sport of harness racing.
