Bidding is now open for the Fasig-Tipton August Digital Sale, which features over 200 entries. The sale catalogue includes 213 offerings. Bidding will close on August 27, beginning at 12 p.m. ET.
"Fasig-Tipton Digital continues to gain impressive momentum, as shown by the size of this catalogue," said Leif Aaron, Fasig-Tipton’s director of digital sales. "We have a range of quality offerings at various price points, including some exciting racehorses and mares in foal to sought-after sires."
Among the 70 horses of racing age in the catalogue is School Dance (Hip 2), a Grade 1-placed, multiple graded stakes-placed racing/broodmare prospect. Other notable entries include Shuangxi (Hip 3), a 3-year-old filly who finished second in the Blue Sparkler Stakes on July 13; Something Wicked (Hip 5), a 3-year-old daughter of Gun Runner and full sister to multiple graded stakes winner Wicked Halo, who recently won a maiden special weight; and Tapit Shoes (Hip 6), a 4-year-old half-brother to Grade 1 winner and sire Cyberknife, who placed second in an allowance race at Ellis Park on July 29.
The catalogue also features 90 broodmares or broodmare prospects, many with notable stakes pedigrees. Headliners include Pantsonfire (Hip 1), a graded stakes winner in foal to Epicenter; Social Matrix (Hip 4), a half-sister to champion British Idiom; Thicker Than Water (Hip 8), a Speightstown half-sister to sire Kantharos, offered with her 2024 colt by Complexity; and Grazed My Heart (Hip 15), a stakes winner from the family of Grade 1 winner Marquetry and sire Five Star Day.
The sale includes covering sires such as Complexity, Gunite, Maclean's Music, Mage, McKinzie, Taiba, Thousand Words, Vekoma, and Yaupon.
Additionally, the catalogue features 25 New Mexico-bred yearlings from A & A Ranch, the 2023 New Mexico Breeder of the Year. These yearlings, sired by Marking, Sporting Chance, and American Anthem, are available for inspection by appointment.
Weanlings, 2-year-olds, and a stallion prospect are also included in the sale catalogue.
