Flag Of Honour, a multiple graded stakes winner, is aiming to enhance his impressive racing record in Saturday's Grade 2 Connaught Cup Stakes at Woodbine.
The seven-furlong turf event for 3-year-olds and up has attracted eight contenders, including Flag Of Honour. Trained by Julia Carey, the 5-year-old son of American Pharoah-Godiva Rock is coming off a dominant win in the Jacques Cartier (G3) on the all-weather track at Woodbine.
This victory marked his second graded stakes win and fifth overall in his career. Flag Of Honour, known for his front-running style, is making his turf debut at Woodbine but has performed well on grass tracks in the past. Emma-Jayne Wilson will be onboard as jockey for Flag Of Honour, replacing regular rider Kazushi Kimura.
