Flag Of Honour is making his turf debut at Woodbine

Flag Of Honour, a multiple graded stakes winner, is aiming to enhance his impressive racing record in Saturday's Grade 2 Connaught Cup Stakes at Woodbine.

The seven-furlong turf event for 3-year-olds and up has attracted eight contenders, including Flag Of Honour. Trained by Julia Carey, the 5-year-old son of American Pharoah-Godiva Rock is coming off a dominant win in the Jacques Cartier (G3) on the all-weather track at Woodbine.

This victory marked his second graded stakes win and fifth overall in his career. Flag Of Honour, known for his front-running style, is making his turf debut at Woodbine but has performed well on grass tracks in the past. Emma-Jayne Wilson will be onboard as jockey for Flag Of Honour, replacing regular rider Kazushi Kimura. Excitement is high as Flag Of Honour looks to continue his winning ways in the Connaught Cup Stakes.
