Grand Circuit stakes at Western Fair, Mohawk

Harness Racing This Week: Camluck Classic and Forest City Pace, The Raceway at Western Fair District, London, Ontario and Somebeachsomewhere, Graduate Series and Miss Versatility, Woodbine Mohawk Park, Milton, Ontario.

Event schedule: On Friday, May 31, Grand Circuit action will take place at the Raceway in Western Fair District. The C$150,000 Camluck Classic is for older pacers and the C$50,000 Forest City Pace is for older female pacers.

At Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday, June 1, there will be Grand Circuit action. Two divisions in the C$167,000 Somebeachsomewhere for 3-year-old pacing colts will lead the Grand Circuit racing event. In addition, there will be one $99,750 Graduate Series competition for 4-year-old open trotters, two C$66,500 divisions in the Graduate Series for 4-year-old open pacers, and a C$53,200 Miss Versatility Series leg for open trotting mares.

The Grand Circuit, also known as the "Big Wheel", is a group of harness racing stakes races run at various race tracks around the United States. Run on one-mile tracks, it is "the oldest continuing horse-racing series in the United States."
