J One Twenty Won Again at the Raceway in the Western Fair District

On Wednesday, May 8, at The Raceway in the Western Fair District, J One Twenty defeated her opponents once more after winning the $11,600 Fillies and Mares Preferred Pace, her second consecutive victory.

While Caesars Shot (Brett MacDonald) was the first to reach the opening quarter panel in :28.2 from the outside, Tyler Borth and J One Twenty claimed the early lead. Caesars Shot pulled back at that point, and J One Twenty picked up speed. They continued to control the timer through panels in:58.1 and 1:26.4, eventually reaching the wire two lengths ahead in 1:56.1. Caesars Shot finished the triactor while Premier Delight (Jeffrey Hunt) had to settle for second place.

J One Twenty (Artspeak-Saintsbury Lady), owned by John O'Brien and Jerry Sims, won her fourth race in 2024 out of 11 starts, and her 17th overall out of 37 starts. With $101,294 banked, the five-year-old mare's lifetime earnings surpassed the six-figure threshold. In the feature, she gave the bettors the option of a return of $3.80.
