Little Rocket Man surprised racing fans with an unexpected victory

Little Rocket Man pulled off a victory in the Battle of Lake Erie, winning by half a length in 1:52.4. The eight-year-old gelding showed his heart of gold, overcoming obstacles to secure the victory. Trainer Ken Rucker was jubilant after the race, praising the horse's determination to win every race he's in. Little Rocket Man now has 59 victories and earnings of $1,334,876. Winning driver Jeremy Smith was impressed with the horse's performance, especially with his four-wide move around the last turn.

In other races on the card, Tennessee Tom won the Ohio Sires Stakes for three-year-old colts and gelding trotters, capturing his eighth career win and pushing his earnings to $631,289. Dancin Moon and What An Ocean View were also repeat winners in the Buckeye Stallion Series divisions, showing their dominance on the track.

Racing For Three continued her winning streak at MGM Northfield Park, taking the $102,740 MGM Buckeye Distaff with a power-packed victory in 1:54. The four-year-old mare by Western Terror pushed her career earnings to $283,329 with the win.
