Central Kentucky Riding for Hope (CKRH), a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing equine-assisted therapies and activities for individuals of all ages, is thrilled to announce its 21st annual gala fundraiser, "Night of the Stars," on June 22 at Fasig Tipton in Lexington. This year's theme, "Broadway Nights," promises an evening filled with elegance and excitement, commencing at 6 p.m. Guests can look forward to a delightful dinner, refreshing drinks, and the chance to participate in both silent and live auctions.
Pat Kline, Executive Director of CKRH, expressed the significance of "Night of the Stars" in supporting the organisation's mission of harnessing the therapeutic potential of horses. With over 40 years of experience, CKRH has positively impacted thousands of lives through its therapy programs. Kline emphasised the profound connection between humans and horses, acknowledging the steadfast support from various equine breeds, particularly the Thoroughbred community, in recognising the transformative power of these magnificent animals.
Bidding for the silent and live auctions is now open and accessible online. Attendees can vie for exclusive items, including prized halters from notable Thoroughbreds such as Cody's Wish, Curlin, Flightline, Gun Runner, Rachel Alexandra, Tapit, and Uncle Mo. Other enticing offerings include a coveted game day experience with the University of Kentucky men's basketball team, a diverse selection of Kentucky bourbon, a thrilling two-day racing experience at Kentucky Downs for four individuals, and a prestigious day of racing in the Godolphin box at Keeneland for six guests.
