The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) is still conducting a critical economic impact survey for the Ontario horse racing industry. This initiative, in collaboration with horse racing associations, aims to evaluate the industry’s economic status in the post-pandemic era.
The survey is a follow-up to OLG's comprehensive study from 2019, designed to understand the evolving landscape of horse racing in Ontario.

Available until February 9, 2024, the survey seeks participation from diverse members within the harness racing industry to gather comprehensive data reflecting its economic contributions. The updated study is poised to provide a reliable baseline of information for industry discussions and future planning.
The survey, covering the 2023 calendar year, requires about 20 minutes to complete, ideally on a desktop or laptop for ease due to its format. Responses are saved automatically, allowing participants to complete the survey in multiple sessions if needed. Participants can request a copy of the summary results upon completion of the survey.
