The Great Reset Records London's Quickest Trotting Mile in History

Аt The Raceway at Western Fair District, The Great Reset entered his name as the person who ran the fastest trotting mile in the history of the London, Ontario circuit, clocking in at 1:55.3.

Duly Resolved set the previous trotting track record in 2022 with a time of 1:55.4.

Marvin Hagler and Brett MacDonald set the pace in the $9,500 conditioned trot with panels of:27.3, :57.3, and 1:26.4. Jason Ryan and The Great Reset waited patiently in the pocket before breaking free in the final stretch and winning by three-quarters of a length in a time that was a lifetime best for 1:55.3. The final place finisher was Garrett Rooney's Takeapeek At Me.

After 15 starts this year, the four-year-old gelded son of Resolve out of the Angus Hall mare Don't Talk Back won his fifth event. The Great Reset has a record of 11-10-16 and has earned $132,106 in 55 career starts. The winner is co-owned by Chantal Ruijs and Lorne House. He had to pay $5.90 to win at 2-1 odds.

Using Fern Hill Breeze ($2.90, 1:56.4), April Duford ($3.20, 1:58.4), Js Betthislady ($40.60, 1:57), Journalistic ($3.30, 1:58.1), and Made Of Magic ($4.90, 1:59.1), Tyler Borth recorded five driving victories on the Tuesday night card.
