The Masterson Equestrian Trust's 20th Anniversary Auction

Bidding is now open for the Masterson Equestrian Trust's 20th Anniversary Auction, dedicated to supporting equestrian green spaces in the Lexington, Kentucky area.

Celebrating two decades, MET is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation focused on preserving and protecting Masterson Station Park as an equestrian facility, safeguarding it from development and repurposing.

The auction features a range of unique items, including halters worn by famous horses such as Justify, Tiznow, Distorted Humor, and Tapit. Also available are lessons with top equestrian instructors, photo sessions, a box for the Blue Grass Stakes, a tailgate spot for the Defender 3-Day Event, and numerous equine-related gifts and products.

Masterson Station Equestrian Park, located in Lexington, Kentucky, is a public facility offering schooling, competition, and trail-riding opportunities. It is one of the few municipal equestrian parks in the nation that is open to the public, allowing riders and their horses to enjoy its amenities freely. The park features rolling hills, cross-country fences ranging from starter to preliminary levels, multiple water complexes, banks, and ditch complexes, conditioning lanes, open riding spaces, a sand schooling arena with jumps, a dressage complex with several rings, an indoor arena, trails, trailer parking, and more.

MET's all-volunteer board handles everything from mowing and arena maintenance to repairing and maintaining jumps, galloping lanes, and trails. They are dedicated to advocating for the preservation and protection of the equestrian facilities from development and repurposing.
