Austin Hanners and Aaron Merriman braved the rainy, sloppy conditions to claim two titles each in the Ohio Sires Stakes (OHSS) $136,986 Gray Championships on Sunday, October 13, at MGM Park. Hanners triumphed in the two-year-old colt pace and three-year-old filly trot, while Merriman secured victories in the two-year-old filly trot and three-year-old colt pace.

Merriman’s first title came in the two-year-old filly trot with *Mega Money*, edging out *Triumph Over You* in a thrilling photo finish. Merriman noted the filly’s determination: “She gave everything she had.”
In the three-year-old filly trot, Hanners secured his second victory with *Justasiam AS*, who held off *Hot Tea* in a tight stretch battle. Merriman wrapped up his night with *Howaboutayankee*, cruising to a four-length win in the three-year-old colt pace.
