Amigo Volo Secures Third Consecutive Victory

Amigo Volo, sired by Father Patrick, showed no signs of slowing down after a week's break as he clinched his third consecutive victory in the $36,000 Preferred event at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Monday (26th February).

Steered by Tyler Borth, the harness racing gelding surged to the front from post seven, setting a brisk pace with an opening quarter of :27.4. Maintaining his lead, Amigo Volo cruised through the half in :57.1 and three-quarters in 1:26.1, entering the final bend with a comfortable lead of one-and-a-half lengths. Despite a challenge from Pikachu Hanover, who tried to close in from the pocket, Amigo Volo finished strongly, crossing the line in 1:53.4. Pikachu Hanover secured second place, holding off Patriarch Hanover who finished third.

With this third consecutive victory, Amigo Volo has now extended his career statistics to 89 starts, 34 wins, and accumulated earnings of $2,430,926. The talented gelding, a two-time Breeders Crown champion, is trained by Meg Crone and is owned by Pinske Stables of Plato and Dave Miller of Lake Mary.
