Anthony: "Thoroughbred racing is a historically significant sport"

Sticker Mule is set to sponsor a race at the league’s inaugural event. The National Thoroughbred League (NTL) is gearing up to announce a collaboration with Sticker Mule, which will manage the league and its teams' online store. A formal announcement is anticipated on August 27.

"Our collaboration with the NTL is especially appealing because Thoroughbred racing is a sport with significant historical importance," remarked Sticker Mule CEO Anthony Constantino. "Over the past couple of months, we’ve been dedicated to a broader mission of empowering individuals to sell. With our Stores platform, we currently have 8,000 creators participating."

Fans will find a variety of merchandise, including T-shirts, stickers, buttons, and more, available for direct order through the league's Sticker Mule Shop. Shoppers will have access to league-branded items as well as products from its six existing teams and the four expansion franchises recently announced on August 26.

Bob Daugherty, co-founder of the NTL, expressed enthusiasm about how Sticker Mule will assist the league, which launched this year, in keeping costs manageable. "This partnership provides us with flexibility, allowing us to allocate our budget toward creating an unparalleled experience for our expanding fan base. We’re excited about the infinite possibilities for products that our league and teams can develop."

The partnership extends beyond just merchandise; Sticker Mule will also sponsor a race at the NTL's inaugural event, The Nashville Cup, taking place from August 30 to September 1 at Kentucky Downs, featuring the $500,000 Sticker Mule Handicap. The three-day event boasts a total purse of $2 million.

In addition to the existing teams—the California Shamrocks, New York Knights, Philadelphia Stallions, Nashville Dreams, Seattle Gems, and New Jersey Degens—the league is also welcoming the Maryland Colts, San Francisco Unicorns, Phoenix Mustangs, and Miami Sea Horses. Furthermore, during the expansion announcement made on Monday, it was revealed that two-time NFL MVP and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will serve as a lead owner for the Maryland Colts.

Sticker Mule has expressed a desire to broaden its involvement in the sports sector. "With our Stores platform, we’re focused on helping and giving back," Constantino stated. "We aim to collaborate with more entities in the sports realm, whether in horse racing, college athletics, or beyond. Our Stores platform is uniquely integrated into our offerings."
