SUMMERSIDE, PE – Batterup Hanover (Betting Line) will start from the rail in the 56th edition of the Governor’s Plate, presented by Summerside Chrysler Dodge, following the post-position draw on Tuesday evening at Red Shores at Summerside Raceway.
The race, which concludes Governor’s Plate Week, will take place on Saturday, July 20, with a purse of $35,000 and eight entries.
Trained and driven by Paul Langille, Batterup Hanover will start from post 1. Defending champion and elimination winner Roll Em will be positioned at post 8.
Elimination winner Rollwithhottytoddy will start from post 4, aiming to be the first Atlantic Sired horse to win the prestigious race since Dunachton Gale in 2007.
