Hes Watching Mare Win Three in a Row With a Career-high

Mighty Mary (Hes Watching) delivered an exceptional performance in harness racing, maintaining her flawless record with three victories this season at The Raceway at the Western Fair District.

The horse led the entire race from the fifth starting position under the guidance of Dan Clements, while her seven competitors were satisfied to let her dictate the pace. Mighty Mary established different intervals of 28.2, 58.3, and 1:27.3 prior to Dinner And Dancing (Travis Henry) launching an offensive from the advantageous position. The competitor made a strong push towards the finish line, but Mighty Mary successfully held her off by a narrow margin, securing the win in a time of 1:56.4. Rose Ricky (Garrett Rooney) trailed far behind in third place.

Jason Libby works with Mighty Mary, a remarkably talented four-year-old who has achieved an impressive six victories out of 19 races. The horse, owned by Gary and Joyce Gonyou from St. Thomas, has accumulated a total of $38,418 in earnings. She has emerged victorious in all three of her races this year, competing in mid-level claimers at The Raceway, a testament to her exceptional abilities.

Also featured on the card is Sauble Lila (State Treasurer), a promising three-year-old who has demonstrated a remarkable improvement in her performance, with a record of four wins out of six races.
