Keeneland has added 10 horses to its Horses of Racing Age Sale, set to begin at noon ET on Thursday, Nov. 14. Among the new additions is Delightful Flame, a two-time winning juvenile filly by Flameaway. The sale now includes a total of 221 horses, most of which will be stabled at Keeneland in Barns 18-26, though some will be offered remotely from their training locations. Further supplements will be accepted until the day of the sale. Internet and phone bidding will be available.
Delightful Flame, consigned by Grovendale Sales, agent, recently secured a dominant maiden special weight win by nine lengths at Belmont and followed up with an allowance victory at Ellis Park. She hails from a strong bloodline, being out of Canadian juvenile champion Delightful Mary and related to MGISW The Chosen Vron and MGSW Delightful Kiss.
Other notable supplements include:
- Eglise, a 3-year-old colt by Frosted, winner of an Oct. 5 maiden special weight at Keeneland.
- Hopper, a 5-year-old by Declaration of War, winner of the 2023 GIII Oaklawn Mile Stakes and runner-up in the GIII San Pasqual Stakes.
Additional supplements are by notable sires including Awesome Slew, Catholic Boy, and Into Mischief. The online catalogue features race replays, past performances, and more. A print edition will be available at Keeneland starting Oct. 31.
