SUMMERSIDE, PE – In a thrilling evening of harness racing at Red Shores Summerside, Brookdale Johnny (Rockin In Heaven) clinched victory with a strategic two-hole ride, delivering a triumphant finish in the featured race. This win marked a trifecta for driver Paul Langille, trainer Phil Sizer, and owners Doug Polley Jr. and Doug Polley Sr., who celebrated three victories throughout the 14-race card. Brookdale Johnny crossed the finish line in 1:58.1, claiming the $3,300 purse. Finishing behind him were Bacononabiscuit (Adam Merner) in second and Sauble Attack (Ken Murphy) in third.
Earlier in the evening, the successful team also saw Brookdale J Mac (1:59.3) triumph in the Isabelle and Ivan Cameron Memorial, and Brookdale Jim (1:59.4) secured the win in the Dick Walsh Memorial/F.S. Construction pace.
Driver Adam Merner also had a notable night, achieving double victories with Nolans Magic Shui (1:59.1) and Impeccable Shadow (1:58.1).
David Dowling showcased his prowess with four wins, including Reddirt Nellabella (2:01.2) and Lady Devine (1:58.1), both trained by Jennifer Doyle.
Other highlights included Shes A Lover, winning the Graham Chappell Memorial, and Howmac Maximus, who delivered for favourite bettors in the Universum Media Pace with a time of 1:56.3.
