Saratoga to Host July 4 Festival Amid NYRA’s Revised 2025 Schedule

The New York Racing Association (NYRA) has announced a revamped 2025 racing schedule, featuring 200 live race days across Aqueduct and Saratoga Race Course due to the ongoing reconstruction of Belmont Park.

Key changes include hosting the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at Saratoga from June 4-8, replacing its usual venue. Additionally, Saratoga will hold the traditional July 4 Racing Festival from July 3-6, marking the conclusion of the Belmont at the Big A spring-summer meet.

Aqueduct will accommodate Belmont’s spring-summer and fall meets, running from April 3 through July 6 and resuming from September 11 to November 2. Its winter meet begins January 1, with racing primarily scheduled Thursday through Sunday, and special cards planned for Presidents’ Day and Memorial Day.

Saratoga’s renowned 40-day summer meet will start July 10, running through Labor Day on September 1, with live racing from Wednesday to Sunday most weeks.

To wrap up the year, NYRA will return to Aqueduct for a 27-day fall meet, spanning November 6 to December 31, maintaining its Thursday-Sunday format.

The adjustments ensure continuity for fans and stakeholders during Belmont Park's redevelopment, while spotlighting Saratoga’s expanded role in NYRA’s premier events.
