The two continued to dominate, but at the three-quarters mark in 1:28.2, the bookmakers' selection, Tyler Borth's Made Of Magic, grabbed possession of the timer from the outside. Made Of Magic and Spun From Magic battled it out in the final stretch, but Spun From Magic prevailed by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:58.3. Donald Rankin's Workinitonbroadway completed the top three.
