The season's inaugural stakes event is the $100,000 Bertrando, exclusively for 3-year-olds and sired in California, set for Saturday, June 22, over one mile.
Also on the roster is the $100,000 Los Alamitos Derby on Saturday, June 29, a contest for 3-year-olds over 1 1/8 miles.

The Pick 6 adheres to the standard 70-30 split, with 70 percent allocated to tickets with six winners and the remaining 30 per cent to tickets with five of six winners. The Los Alamitos Racing Association will kickstart the Pick Six with $10,000 on Saturday, June 29, and Saturday, July 6, provided there is no carry-over.
Additionally, a handicapping contest is slated for Saturday, July 6, offering a cash prize and two berths in the 2025 National Thoroughbred Racing Association Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas. The entry fee is $500, with $100 directed to the contest prize pool and the remaining $400 toward a live-money wagering card.
Tournament races will encompass the entire Los Alamitos card, allowing wagers on win, place, show, exactas, trifectas, and daily doubles.
