The Meadows is set to introduce a fresh betting opportunity known as the Lucky7 on Wednesday, March 6, with an enticing 15% takeout and a $1 base.
The Lucky7, a Pick-7 wager exclusive to The Meadows, will be featured daily from races three to nine. If no participant accurately predicts all seven winners, there will be a full carryover of the net pool each day.
Having recently engaged with horseplayers nationwide to gather insights through a comprehensive survey on racing and wagering preferences, The Meadows has tailored the Lucky7 to cater to these responses.
"The feedback we received clearly indicated a strong interest in this type of wager,"
explained Scott Lishia, the Director of Racing at The Meadows.
"With its $1 base and 15% takeout rate, combined with the consistently large fields we've showcased this year, we believe the Lucky7 offers a challenging yet rewarding betting experience."
In addition to the launch of the Lucky7, The Meadows has strategic collaborations lined up, including partnerships with the United States Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering program and the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association, to guarantee pool sizes and enhance the overall betting experience.
