The morning line favours Sierra Leone by a margin of 2-1

Sierra Leone has emerged as the top pick in a competitive field of 11 3-year-olds vying for victory in the prestigious Grade 1, $1 million Blue Grass at Keeneland. The race marks its 100th running, adding to the excitement and anticipation surrounding this highly anticipated event.

The Blue Grass, which takes place on Saturday, is the 10th race on the program and starts at 5:52 p.m. EDT. It is run over 1 1/8 miles on the main track.

Tyler Gaffalione will be riding Sierra Leone from post 10.

Brown's Blue Grass champions include Good Magic in 2018 and Zandon in 2022. Dornoch is sired by Good Magic.

Brown has two additional participants in the competition: Good Money with odds of 20-1 and Top Conor with odds of 15-1.

Good Money has achieved success in one out of two races and placed fourth in the Tampa Bay Derby (G3) on March 9 in his most recent outing. Javier Castellano, the jockey who emerged victorious in the 2019 Blue Grass aboard Vekoma, will be riding from post 5.

The impressive Conor emerged victorious in his sole competition, triumphing over a mile at Gulfstream Park on February 17. Conor, the top contender, will start from post 1 with jockey Jose Ortiz, who emerged victorious in the Blue Grass race back in 2018 aboard Good Magic.
