Thursday Highlights at Red, Shores Charlottetown

Dollywood won the Grant Thornton Pace, rallying from last to beat Freaky Fanny by a neck in 1:59. Driven by Kenny Arsenault, Dollywood is trained and owned by Paul Doyle.

Adam Merner had a stellar night, marking his 37th birthday with three wins, including Lady Llamrei (1:59.2) and Shake N Blake (1:55.3), and Oceanview Rumors (2:02.3) for trainer Bill Roloson.

Brodie MacPhee and Tom Weatherbie scored wins with Irie (1:59.2) and Century Keyanna (1:58).

Outrageous Song, driven by Gilles Barrieau for trainer Ron Matheson, won the $2,800 Fox Group Racing Event. The same team also won with Outrageous Style in Race 10.

Elm Grove Redwine secured her third consecutive win in Race 11, driven by David Dowling.

Gold Cup Week Preview:

The action starts on August 9 with Imalookertoo favoured in the $2,950 Trevor Tracey - Tracey Family Funeral Home Pace. Driven by Brady Sweet, the seven-year-old Shadow Play son has won four of his last six races.

Jewels Dragon, starting from post-three, is another top contender.

Shakemeup Hanover (Race 5), Winter Blast (Race 6), and Thinkingofyoubabe (Race 7) are also favourites in their respective races.

Melanies Magic (Race 8) is the top choice, owned by Sandra Stead.
