Breaking from an outside post under Jose Ortiz, With the Angels sprang out of the gate quickly and comfortably cruised through the opening quarter in :22.51. Keeping her competition at bay while rounding the turn, she hit the quarter pole in :45.62 and then widened her lead with every stride without ever feeling the whip, ultimately crossing the wire a commanding 12 lengths ahead of the well-regarded Stone Smuggler (Honest Mischief) in a swift final time of 1:10.40 for six furlongs. Princess Mischief (Honest Mischief), last out of the gate, rallied strongly to finish third at 29-1 odds.
