Write Me A Rose secured another victory at Woodbine Mohawk Park

Write Me A Rose delivered a thrilling performance to secure another victory, surpassing the $500,000 mark in lifetime earnings and setting a new personal best in the $36,000 Preferred Pace at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday evening, August 3.

Driver Travis Cullen eased the four-year-old son of Sportswriter, trained by Kyle Fellows, out of the gate into sixth place. He cruised through the splits in :26.4 and :53.3. Moving three-wide at the 1:20.3 three-quarters mark, Write Me A Rose surged home to win by 2-1/2 lengths in 1:48. Redwood Hanover (Jonathan Drury) finished second, while Taurasi (Doug McNair) took third.

Bred and owned by Windermere Stable LLC, Write Me A Rose is out of the Bettors Delight mare Caribbean Rose N.
