2 big events at Grand River Raceway - Battle of Waterloo and Battle of the Belles

The upcoming harness racing events at Grand River Raceway promise to be thrilling, as 18 entries have been submitted for the Battle of Waterloo and 17 for the Battle of the Belles. Eliminations for these marquee races will take place on Monday, July 29, with post time set for 6:30 p.m. (EDT).

Battle of Waterloo Eliminations:

-Elimination 1: Features Stonebridge Wizard (Dancin Lou) starting from Post 2, boasting a mark of 1:52 and strong performances in recent OSS Gold legs at Woodbine Mohawk Park. Team McNair will also field the undefeated Crack Shot from Post 4, who has secured victories in the OSS Grassroots events.

-Elimination 2: Contains Parlay King (Bettors Delight) starting from Post 5 and Blue Bar (All Bets Off) from Post 9. Parlay King impressed in OSS Grassroots with a time of 1:52.3.

Battle of the Belles Eliminations:

-Elimination 1: Features Millie May Hanover (Bettors Delight) from Post 2 after a strong showing in OSS Gold. She will compete against Manhattan Mayhem (Bettors Delight) from Post 6, fresh off a Grassroots win.

-Elimination 2: Showcases the McWicked daughters WickedPace (Post 2) and Wicked N Single (Post 4), alongside Perfectly Chic (Post 9).

In both the Battle of Waterloo and Battle of the Belles, the top four finishers from each elimination will progress to their respective finals, with a fifth-place finisher drawn by lot. Additionally, each elimination winner will secure a guaranteed draw between posts 1 and 5 for the final.
