Amigo Volo Triumphs in Preferred Trot at Mohawk Park
Amigo Volo, a seasoned harness racing gelding sired by Father Patrick, secured an impressive victory in the $36,000 Preferred Trot at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Monday, December 16. After a prior defeat to Safe Conduct, the seven-year-old showcased dominance on a wet track, starting from post six. Guided by James MacDonald, he led early with a brisk :28 quarter.
Maintaining control through middle fractions of :58.2 and 1:26.4, Amigo Volo comfortably countered a challenge from Franks Angel, driven by Bob McClure.
