Americagreatagain, a promising three-year-old pacing gelding, fetched a substantial sum in an online auction held on Wednesday afternoon, April 3.

Eric Prevost from Florida emerged as the top bidder, acquiring Americagreatagain for a whopping $176,351 through onGait.com.

Not having competed at the age of two, Americagreatagain hails from the initial offspring of Captain Crunch (depicted in the image) and is the offspring of the mare America Rocks, who Rocknroll Hanover sires. Despite not securing a victory in his four starts this year, he has already demonstrated impressive speed with sub : 27 quarters at the conclusion of races timed individually in 1:51 and 1:51.3 at The Meadowlands.
