August 6th The Share Of Freshman Sire Complexity Will Be Offered During the Sale
Fasig-Tipton announced that a share in the successful freshman sire Complexity, consigned by Airdrie Stud, will be offered at the Saratoga Sale's second session on Tuesday, August 6. This share will be the first item of the session, highlighting the significance of Complexity's early achievements.
Complexity tops the charts for winners, black-type winners, black-type horses, graded stakes winners, and progeny earnings among first-crop sires.
Leading General Sire of 2-Year-Olds: His progeny includes notable horses like Mo Plex, winner of the GIII Sanford Stakes at Saratoga, and Mensa, winner of the Victoria Stakes at Woodbine, who was purchased for a record-setting $740,000 after his maiden win.
Highlights of Complexity's Career:
- Debuted with a four-length win at Saratoga.
- Won the GI Champagne Stakes with a 95 Beyer speed figure.
- At four years old, won the GII Kelso Handicap at Belmont with a mile time of 1:33 4/5 and a 110 Beyer, the third-highest of that year.
