Bah Dee Yah's Impressive Victory and Promising Future

Bah Dee Yah, a promising three-year-old filly, could potentially light up the Canadian turf in July or August if her American owners and trainer bring her north.

The Ontario-bred daughter of Uncle Mo out of Pearl Turn by Bernardini clinched her first stakes victory by triumphing in the Allan 'Black Cat' LaCombe Stakes, held over 1 mile and 70 yards on the dirt.

Bred by David Anderson's Anderson Farms Ontario, Inc., Bah Dee Yah surged to a resounding 5 3/4-length victory in 1:42.79, achieving a career-best 81 Beyer Figure. Trained by Tom Amoss, this half-sister to Canadian champion Gretzky the Great has notched two wins in five races for Gold Standard Stable, owned by Bill and Mary Stone, Rod Ratcliff, and Denise Murray.

Purchased at the 2022 Fasig Tipton October sale for $485,000, Bah Dee Yah has a yearling sibling sired by Medaglia D'Oro, while Pearl Turn is reportedly expecting a foal by Uncle Mo this year.
