The non-profit Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA) said in a release on Wednesday that it would be holding an online auction called "Bid on the Bluegrass," which would feature distinctive objects and experiences with a Kentucky theme. The auction will begin on Thursday, May 2 at 9 a.m. ET and end on Saturday, May 4 at 9 p.m. ET.
"Bid on the Bluegrass offers a wide array of interesting items with a Kentucky focus, thanks to our generous donors," TCA executive director Erin Halliwell said. "We have halters worn by Kentucky Derby starters, racing memorabilia, one-of-a-kind experiences, and much more."
A private Pinhook Bourbon tasting, a meet-and-greet with Zenyatta at Lane's End Farm, a tour and visit with Rachel Alexandra at Stonestreet Farm, an exclusive painting of Cody's Wish by artist Robert Clark, and much more are among the featured items, all of which benefit the TCA. Daily additions of new things will continue until the auction opens.
