Boomboom Dominates at Hippodrome 3R

Boomboom (Sportswriter) scored his third consecutive win in the Breeders Trophy Series at Hippodrome 3R. The 1/9 favourite crushed the competition in the second division of the series, winning by ten lengths in 1:56.2. G S Speed Gabby was second, and Ambitious Mind finished third. Bred, owned, and trained by Elisabeth Pothier, Boomboom Tonight is the only double winner in the series and paid $2.10.

Wicked Discovery (Mcwicked) led from the start to win the second filly division by five lengths, setting a lifetime mark of 1:58.1. Trained by Louis Philippe Turcotte, Wicked Discovery paid $2.80.
