Bruce Goit has passed away

Bruce Harold Roy Goit, a talented horseman from Ontario, sadly left us at Toronto General Hospital at the age of 49.

Bruce had the privilege of being the mastermind behind a magnificent stable of Standardbred horses for an extensive period. He had a deep passion for agriculture.

Bruce was widely recognized for his exceptional work with millionaire pacing mare Waasmula. Still, he also had a particular fondness for horses like Artistry, Greystone Cash, Western Alumni, Lyonssomewhere, Amillionpennies, and Lyons River Pride.

He passed away before his parents, Phyllis and Harold. Caring sibling of Bonnie Goit (Grover Anderson). He was survived by his uncles Arnold (Wilma) Goit and Murray (Lorraine) Goit. Aunts Muriel (Bill) Bellingham, Margaret (Roy) Armstrong, and Beatrice Bratt passed away before. Additionally, numerous cousins have also managed to endure.

The process of cremation has been completed. Join us in honouring the life of Bruce at a special gathering on Sunday, May 12, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held at the picturesque Binbrook Fair Grounds, nestled under the grandstand. You can find this charming venue at 2600 Regional Road #56, Binbrook, ON.

We look forward to coming together to celebrate Bruce's remarkable journey. Serenity Burial & Cremation Services Inc. has been honoured with the responsibility of handling the arrangements.

If you're looking to make a memorial donation in Bruce's memory, consider the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society.

The family would like to express their gratitude to lifelong companions and fellow equestrians who have provided unwavering support to Bruce during his illness.
