Cody's Wish Crowned Horse of the Year, Spotlighting Mott and Godolphin's Stellar Season
They have honoured Cody's Wish as the Horse of the Year. This highlights a great season, including a standout win at the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile. The award was part of an excellent night for trainer Bill Mott and owner Godolphin. It was at the famous Eclipse Awards. This recognition comes in a year where Cody's Wish got many Grade 1 victories. It also touched hearts. Cody Dorman, who had a special bond with the champion horse, named the charity. The Eclipse Awards also celebrated other significant achievements. This included Woodbine Entertainment's win for their "SECRETARIAT The Last Race" feature. They also celebrated more successes for Godolphin and Mott. This included Just F Y I and Elite Power's championships. Mott has now trained two decorated horses.
