Dexter Dunn showcased his exceptional skills during the Fall Final Four and FanDuel Championships at The Meadowlands, further cementing his dominance in harness racing. Having already won six races on Breeders Crown weekend, Dunn continued his streak with five major stakes victories on November 30. His triumphs included the FanDuel Open Mare Trot, Three Diamonds, and FanDuel Open Mare events, highlighted by Twin B Joe Fresh’s historic second consecutive FanDuel Championship win. Dunn also guided Captain Optimistic to victory in the Governor’s Cup, and concluded the evening with Abuckabett Hanover's win in the FanDuel Open Pace.
Trainer Chris Ryder celebrated Twin B Joe Fresh’s stellar season, which culminated in her becoming the event’s first two-time winner. With 11 wins in 13 starts this year, she maintained her position as harness racing’s top-ranked horse. Ryder confirmed plans for her return in 2025, expressing optimism about sustaining her remarkable form.
Other notable performances included Logan Park’s upset victory in the FanDuel Open Trot, where he edged out the favoured Winners Bet. Meanwhile, Abuckabett Hanover displayed resilience by overpowering Ruthless Hanover in the FanDuel Open Pace Championship.
In the Two-Year-Old categories, Miki And Minnie equalled the Three Diamonds stakes record, showcasing her consistency in top-tier events, while Captain Optimistic delivered a commanding performance to win the Governor’s Cup. Monserrate also impressed with a career-best effort in the Valley Victory, rounding off an electrifying evening at The Meadowlands.
