Heza Handy Man In London Preferred Pace

On Monday, May 20, at The Raceway at the Western Fair District, Heza Handy Man produced a significant upset by winning the $11,600 Preferred Handicap Pace as the longest shot available at odds of 23-1.

In:28, the first panel clicked, and Brett MacDonald and the trainee for Michael Horner managed to escape seventh from post five. Heza Handy Man followed Hollys Treasure (Dan Clements) in initiating the first overbid through the:57.4 half. Heza Handy Man maintained his fourth-place position on the outside as he completed the third quarter in 1:25.4 and approached the last turn. Down the stretch, Heza Handy Man faced off against the favourite, Arties Ideal (Samuel Fillion). Heza Handy Man won by a half-length in 1:55 at the wire. Garrett Rooney's Drinking Buddy finished the triactor.
