Hippodrome 3R will showcase two-year-old trotting fillies

The Future Stars Series at Hippodrome 3R will showcase two-year-old trotting fillies and colts. The series will consist of three weeks of preliminary rounds, with the top eight point earners competing in their $55,000 finals on Sunday, Sept. 8.

In the sixth race, eight fillies will vie for a $10,000 purse, with Miche Charm leading the field from post six. Trained by Jeremy Marcotte and driven by Denis St. Pierre, Miche Charm is sired by Muscle Mass and comes from the producing mare Exquisite Charm. Chic Choc Rose, a hometown favourite, will also be a contender from post three, owned and co-bred by Marie-Claude Auger.

In the colt division, Im Just A Gigolo headlines the three-horse field, boasting an impressive pedigree as the half-brother of trotting stars X O X O and Lucky Promesses. The ninth race will feature a competitive field of Quebec-bred trotters, including recent winners X O X O and Only For Justice.
