Mohawk Set to Host International Women’s Day Race
Woodbine Entertainment is set to commemorate International Women’s Day by hosting a special race on Friday, 8th March, at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
The upcoming International Women’s Day race will showcase a line-up of female drivers vying for victory. This event will mark the third consecutive year that Woodbine Mohawk Park has been the proud host of this special race.
In the previous edition, the event was divided into two races, with Marie-Claude Auger and Anita Ouellette emerging as the triumphant drivers. Natasha Day clinched the first International Women’s Day race in March 2022.
As part of the festivities, Woodbine’s simulcast show will spotlight Woodbine hosts Elissa Blowe, Monique Vág, and former Woodbine commentator Renee Kierans. The broadcast promises to shine a light on the remarkable women in the world of harness racing throughout the entire evening.
The action is scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m. on Friday, 8th March. The complete entries for the card will be unveiled next Tuesday.
