Rob Fellows: "Third time's a charm"

Logan Park, a remarkable trotter trained by Rob Fellows, epitomises success in harness racing, especially considering his journey from a promising yearling to an elite competitor. Purchased for $57,000 at the London Select Yearling Sale in 2019, Logan Park was chosen over another Archangel offspring, which turned out to be a fortunate decision.

His racing career has been filled with achievements, including significant victories in Ontario Sire Stakes races and high-profile events in the U.S. Despite a challenging start in some races, Logan Park demonstrated his exceptional talent, especially during the 2023 season, where he clinched 12 wins and set a new track and Canadian record for older male trotters with a time of 1:50.3.

Continuing to shine in 2024, he has maintained a commendable record, winning seven of his ten starts, with notable performances in the Earl Rowe Memorial Trot and Maple Leaf Trot eliminations. As he prepares to compete in the prestigious $600,000 Maple Leaf Trot final, the expectations for Logan Park remain high, especially with accomplished driver Doug McNair taking the reins.

Rob Fellows, reflecting on Logan Park's journey, emphasises gratitude and the joy that comes with having such a talented horse who brings excitement to the sport. Regardless of the outcome on race day, Logan Park has already proven to be a blessing and a source of pride for all those involved in his training and care. The phrase "third time's a charm" resonates with Logan Park's upcoming challenge, as he aims to secure a coveted victory in the Maple Leaf Trot.
