Drawing post eight for his next challenge in the $20,270 Open Handicap, the seven-year-old Rock N Roll Heaven gelding expertly guided by Stalbaum, who not only owns but also trains and drives the remarkable pacer, began the race positioned in the middle of the pack.

The favoured contender, Slip The Hundy N, skillfully handled by Jay Randall, swiftly surged forward, capturing the lead with an impressive first half time of 56 seconds over the rain-soaked track. However, Slip The Hundy N's reign was short-lived, as Rocknroll Runa A valiantly confronted the invading favourite, engaging in a captivating showcase of skill and speed throughout the second lap. Ultimately, it was Rocknroll Runa A who emerged as the victor, surpassing Slip The Hundy N in the final stretch and halting the timer at an impressive 1:53.1, with the track conditions being rated two seconds off.

Slip The Hundy N displayed remarkable resilience, securing a commendable second place, while the longshot contender Twin B Tuffenuff, masterfully guided by Mitch Cushing, made a late surge to secure the third position. In the wagering, Rocknroll Runa A was the second favourite, boasting odds of 2-1, resulting in an exacta payout of $17.20 and a triple payout of $353.

With this recent victory, Rocknroll Runa A has further solidified his stellar performance this season, boasting a record of 2 wins out of 4 races. Moreover, the talented pacer now boasts an impressive career tally of 27 victories, accompanied by purse earnings exceeding $350,000.
