First Tracks Cumberland has announced a significant change in schedule for its first qualifying races of the season. The races, originally planned for a different day, will now take place on Sunday, April 7. This adjustment is crucial due to the anticipated snowstorm.
The races will be aired in real-time on the Racetrack Television Network (RTN), starting at 11:30 am. (EDT).
Here's the good news for horse owners! The box will stay open until 9 am on Saturday, April 6. Horses with a clear lineage starting from December 1, 2023, or later, are exempt from meeting the qualifying criteria during the initial two weekends of racing (until April 20). However, starting from the draw for the April 26 program, the 45-day rule will once again be in effect.
First Tracks Cumberland will continue to be available on RTN channel 9747 for the duration of this season. For those who love racing and equestrian enthusiasts, another option is to visit rtn.tv.
