Three-year-old wins the third game in a row in romp

With a commanding performance at The Raceway at Western Fair District on Tuesday, May 28, O Large Marge (Big Jim) won three straight harness races.

Through fractions of :29 and :59.3 for Mike Saftic, she occupied the pocket until the halfway point, with Mvp Kamala (Tyler Borth) leading. Before three-quarters in 1:28, O Large Marge outmuscled Mvp Kamala and left the cones coming onto the backstretch.2. O Big Marge romped in 1:59 by keeping the gas pedal down, turning for the stretch and opening up by six and three-quarter lengths.2. For third place, Beethreepo (Travis Henry) managed to hold off Manhattan Love (Colin Kelly).

O Big Marge is already three wins out of five in her first year of training for Saftic, who also co-owns the filly with Daniel Sarafian of Unionville and DOP Racing of Campbellville. The child, who is three years old, has earned $9,978.

The Camluck Classic event at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Friday, May 31 marks the end of the season. The Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots, the City of London Finals, and the Forest City Pace are on the undercard.
