Trained by Monica Krist, this competitor has had limited appearances over the past eighteen months but has been displaying improved performance in recent weeks. Earlier this month, Tiktok Roy effortlessly secured a six-length victory, clocking a speedy 1:57.2. Despite encountering a setback in his previous outing, he entered Monday's race as the 8-5 second favourite, making a leap in class from his earlier season win.

Guided by driver Billy Dobson and owned by Rick Dobson from Howell, Michigan, the four-year-old Swan In A Million gelding effortlessly claimed the lead. With the race's favourite experiencing an early mishap, Tiktok Roy faced no significant challenge as he led from start to finish. Clocking a time of 1:57.2, matching his previous seasonal victory, Tiktok Roy emerged triumphant once again, this time over a 'good' track, securing victory with an open-length lead.

In another noteworthy trot, longshot Ruby Roundhouse emerged victorious, overcoming the odds at 28-1. Piloted by Jay Randall, the four-year-old You Know You Do mare surged from behind to win by a neck, crossing the finish line in 1:58.4.
