Veteran Trotter Excels in London Feature Race

Reports indicate that Willyorwonthe, a trotter bred by Angus Hall, demonstrated impressive dominance in the conditioned co-feature at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Tuesday, December 3. From post four, driver Travis Henry quickly propelled the gelding to the front, where he maintained his lead throughout the race. Willyorwonthe set a swift pace, clocking fractions of 28.3, 59.2, and 1:28.3, pulling away to a three-length advantage down the backstretch. He continued to extend his lead on the final turn, ultimately winning by two lengths with a final time of 1:59.3. Heavy Dude E, driven by Samuel Fillion, secured second place, while April Duford, guided by Robert Doyle, took third.

This latest victory marked Willyorwonthe's fifth win of the season, contributing to his remarkable total of 56 career wins. The 11-year-old gelding, trained by Kyle Bossence, has amassed $494,284 in earnings over 247 lifetime starts, with ownership held by Phil Maguire of Arthur.

In the co-featured pace, Crazy World, sired by Control The Moment, surged ahead after making a first-over move. After catching up with pacesetter Full Disclosure through the back half, he took over the lead on the final turn and ultimately won by three and a half lengths in a time of 1:56.3. La Sun Control and Dows Up claimed the second and third spots, respectively. With this win, Crazy World celebrated his eighth victory of the season, trained by Angela Carroll for Kathy Cecchin of Arthur. Racing at The Raceway will resume on Friday, December 6, at 5:50 p.m. EST.
