In an electrifying showcase of speed and stamina, Soaring Now emerged victorious in the $32,000 Preferred 2 Handicap Pace at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday evening. The race, which unfolded in a thrilling manner, saw Soaring Now clinch the win by a narrow margin in a time of 1:50.4.

Guided by the skilled reins of James MacDonald and under the tutelage of trainer Meg Crone, Soaring Now commenced the race from the fifth position, having started from post ten. The duo maintained a strategic position along the pylons, navigating through the initial quarter in :25.4 and the halfway mark in :55.1. As the race progressed, Soaring Now held the fourth spot as they hit the three-quarter mark in 1:24.1, eventually advancing to third place as they approached the final turn.

The home stretch proved to be a test of endurance and speed, with Soaring Now unleashing a powerful sprint. With a blistering final quarter clocked in :26, Soaring Now surged ahead, ultimately securing the victory by a neck over the closely trailing Poseidon Seelster ridden by Tyler Moore.
