Sequel New York Celebrates First Foal by Keepmeinmind

Sequel New York has welcomed the first foal sired by Keepmeinmind, a grade 2 winning stallion, born to the Carpe Diem mare Wintrily on January 20. This filly, co-bred by Sequel New York and Lakland Farm, is part of an impressive lineage. Wintrily, daughter of multiple stakes winner Winter Book and half-sister to stakes winner Tricky Temper, boasts a strong racing pedigree.

Becky Thomas of Sequel New York expressed delight with the foal's physical attributes and potential for racing success. Keepmeinmind, a son of the late Laoban, began his stud career at Sequel Stallions New York. His racing accolades include a grade 1 placement at Keeneland’s 2020 Breeders' Futurity, a third place in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, and a victory in the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes. With a career record of 2-3-3 from 14 starts and earnings over $900,000, Keepmeinmind has shown notable promise.

Now standing at Sequel for a stud fee of $5,000, Keepmeinmind’s offspring are anticipated to continue his legacy in the racing world.
